Workshop to explore alternative strategies for hard-to-abate industries with IESE Business School

The European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center (EGHAC), an initiative of EIT InnoEnergy, is at the forefront of fostering innovative enterprises (NewCos) in industries which are difficult to decarbonize. Our focus areas include green steel production, where we founded GravitHy and low-carbon fertilizer with FertigHy.

Over the past 18 months, EGHAC has been working on the strategic development of eFuel producers across Europe. Our comprehensive approach encompasses securing biogenic CO2 sources, land procurement, grid connectivity, active market participation, and meticulous technology evaluation. Adhering strictly to the European regulatory framework governing the eFuel sector, EGHAC is committed to transparency and collaboration.

We are now ready to share our insights about the challenging Spanish market, inviting stakeholders to engage with us in identifying viable solutions for sectors where carbon reduction is particularly daunting. As an initial step we will collaborate with the IESE Business School in Barcelona and organize a workshop for student to understand the complexities and explore alternative strategies for hard-to-abate sectors. This workshop is exclusively for IESE students but of course we are open to explore other cooperation with industry as well. Please reach out to us!
